TIO-KIDS

Banners now on display on Washington Park fence (aka Judge George Carroll Park—aka unofficial dog park) in Point Richmond (with plenty of room between banners to admire frolicking dogs.)

The theme this year is “KINDNESS”. A huge thank you to Sharon Goods, Kenoli Oleari and Carol Letko, and all the fab volunteers who show up to help hang the banners.

TIO-KIDS is a collaborative art-making project between Arts of Point Richmond and Washington School (a dual Spanish/English language immersion grammar school in Point Richmond) that provides an innovative way for children to bring their own ideas and images to the exploration of current social and cultural themes.

We need your help to keep this meaningful program going, so if you are an AOPR member who’d like to become involved, please email kenoli@igc.org.
