Irene Hightower

Photography: a hobby, a challenge, a therapy.

I decided to become a serious photographer after joining the Marin Photo club in 1993. As a beginner, I took workshops and photo workshop tours with professional photographers. My goal was to be able to capture a scene and make it look like what I envisioned. My cameras are a 35mm Nikon digital camera and a Samsung cell phone.

I love the outdoors and nature, so many of my photos represent flowers, trees and scenes that draw me to them. Many people know me for the photo cards I make and sell.
