Angeline Otis

My name is Angeline Otis and I am a mixed media collage and block printing artist.

The embellishments in my collages are made using block printing stamps I’ve carved by hand, images and stencils cut using my die cut machine, vintage papers and images, recycled items, and lots of different paints and inks.

I find inspiration in collage and paper crafts, art nouveau, folk art, print art and etching, stencil graffiti and concert posters and flyers. My pieces tend to have a lot of feminine, mythical, folklore, music and nature elements to them and can sometimes be a bit quirky and kitschy.

In addition to collaging and block printing, I love sewing, embroidering and knitting and making wood jewelry with my laser cutter.
