Born and raised in Hollywood California in the 1940’s and 50’s the first 20 years were enriched by a visual landscape peppered with whimsical and theatrical images.
Giant Wiener Mobiles, Mile High Ice Cream Cones, Blimps, The Brown Derby Restaurant, Carousels, Movie Sets and the Hari Krishna were all part of daily life. These early experiences continue to influence my quirky vision that I share with you today.
In 1980 I moved north to study Commercial Photography at City College of San Francisco. In 1982 Crocker Bank sponsored my one-woman photo exhibit, “Portraits of the Tenderloin”.
Since 2005 I have been using a digital camera. I work with Photoshop where I alter, enhance and print my own images.
For the past 7 years I have been accepted in the Marin County Fair National Photography Exhibition and have received numerous awards.
